Get rich or die tryin'! Get rich or die trying! Niels Petersen wants to make big money and starts dealing drugs in the schoolyard in Flensburg. When he sets off for Colombia, he becomes deeply involved in the drug trade and is soon working with a merciless drug boss. In the midst of the dangerous cartel, between money laundering, death threats and kidnappings, he narrowly escapes death. When he is caught smuggling cocaine, he ends up in hell on earth, in La Modelo in Bogotá, one of the most dangerous prisons in the world. But it is here, of all places, at the lowest point a person can reach, that he hears of God's grace and forgiveness. Everything he has believed in and worked for now becomes irrelevant. His radical turnaround leads to a new life full of freedom, peace and the desire to save young people in particular from following a similar path.
